Berlin Network of
Labour Market Research (BeNA)
The Berlin Network of Labour Market Researchers (BeNA) was founded in 2004 as a forum for the discussion and the development of research projects by young labour market researchers working at universities and research institutions in Berlin. Currently, the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin), the Humboldt University Berlin (HU Berlin), the Rheinisch-Westfälische Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung (RWI Essen, Berlin Office), and the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB) are actively participating. Further cooperations with the Free University Berlin and the Technical University Berlin are envisaged. At the heart of the network lies the Berlin Labour Market Seminar, which is open to all people interested in labour market research.

The title image is a detail of the destroyed frescoes by Hugo Vogel (1894) and is taken from the virtual museum of the Archives BILDER DER ARBEIT by Prof. Dr. Klaus Turk. It illustrates workers receiving tools from the goddess of industry.
